Has the licensing model changed from Perpetual to subscription. The text in the renewal section seems to imply that it is a subscription. This used to say renewal?

In fact, nothing has changed. We have simply started using a more accurate term. When you purchase a product, you get a perpetual license to use it and a subscription to services — technical support, bug fixes, and the ability to download new versions. When the subscription expires, you renew it to extend access to these services. In other words, you are not actually renewing the license, but the subscription.
