Hi,

Is there a merge cell function for iGrid. In MSFlexGrid, there is a CellMerge property which will merge the neighbor cells when they are in the same value.

In iGrid, you can only merge cells in the form of row text cells.
There is no way to merge an arbitrary set of cells like you can do that in FlexGrid.

Thanks for your reply.
By row text cells, do you mean text spanning across several columns?

Yes - within the same row.
Like message preview in the message list in MS Outlook.

Hi Igor,

Do you think my said function of merge cell can be a feature of iGrid?

With this feature, the grid looks much cleaner for rows showing repeating values with only the first row shows while the others are blank.

Yes, I agree, but this feature has been never planned for iGrid.
We use "standard" group rows for this purpose.
