One of my columns contains currency values so I used a horizontal alignment of: igAlignHRight.

Can I set an indent or padding value for a column to make it look a little nicer?

The CellIndentLeft, CellIndentTop, CellIndentRight, CellIndentBottom properties allow you to set padding for every cell. The corresponding values can be set also through the column default cell object returned by the ColDefaultCell property - see its btIndentLeft, btIndentTop, btIndentRight and btIndentBottom subproperties.
