Why do you need to know this?

If you need to know whether the user has applied a filter, you can use the FilterApplied event for that.

Hello,

sorry for my late reply.

I just use the FilterApplied Event.

Reason to know last keypressed botton to close filterbox:

Private Sub igAfm_FilterApplied(...) Handles igAfm.FilterApplied
....
based on filtered rows - do some complex refresh operations on other parts of the form
....
End Sub

--> user press OK to close the filterbox -> complex refresh operations
--> user press Cancel to close the filterbox -> no need to start complex refresh operations

FilterApplied is triggered when OK or Apply are pressed, but not for the Cancel button. So, it seems, it is what you need.
