Hello,

I'm trying to change the value of the Selected property of individual cells in various scenarios in v6.0.

I'm noticing that sometimes, the Selected value cannot be changed (even if it is changed programatically the new value is overriden by the old value inmediately). For example, I noticed this happens when the grid is in RowMode.

Is there a way to configure the grid so that I can change the Selected value of a cell in any scenario?

If there isn't, in which scenarios am I not allowed to change it?

Thank you in advance!

iGrid allows you to change the Selected property of a cell only if the current selection mode allows it. The related iGrid settings are iGrid.RowMode and iGrid.SelectionMode.

For example, if row mode is on, you cannot make individual cells selected if they do not belong to the current row. I think this is your case.

One more thing. You can also enable row selection in cell selection mode with the iGrid.RowSelectionInCellMode property. Perhaps, you can use this mode for what you need.

This mode is described in the documentation for iGrid in the following section/subsection/topic:

Selection and the Current Cell > Selection Functionality > Selecting Rows in Cell Selection Mode

It doesn't solve my issue, but I already found a workaround.

Thak you anyways!
