Hi,

To register Igrid assemblies, I use the batch file "Toolbox_Items_Create.bat".
The tool works perfectly, but it's only for VS 2022.

I'm trying VS 2026 Insider. I have no problems with Igrid so far.
But how to register the assemblies in this version?
Will the registration tool be updated?

Thank you

Thank you for pointing this out! We are talking about the ToolboxUtility that is used to create VS Toolbox items for iGrid.NET for .NET Framework projects (not .NET Core, or .NET 6+). To use all the control features, you also need to place the design-time DLL into the VS PrivateAssemblies folder as it is described in this post:

Of course, we will update ToobloxUtility and related parts of the demo installer with the next service update of iGrid.

VS 2026 was released yesterday, and we have checked how our ToolboxUtility works with the final release of VS 2026. It seems, it does its work correctly — both when it is launched automatically during the demo installation or when we launch it manually from the command line. We only needed to call the Reset command for the Toolbox just one time to show the 10Tec iGrid tab after several manual additions and removals of the component icons. It's a normal situation for VS because it is notorious for its buggy process of adding new WinForms .NET Framework components to the Toolbox.

Try to add the iGrid toolbox icons again using ToolboxUtility and call the Reset command for the Toolbox if you do not see the iGrid component icons. If you still do not see them, we are ready to discuss this issue in email correspondence.

And do you specify the location of the iGrid.NET DLLs for ToolboxUtility correctly when launching the utility in manual mode?
