Does the used font support Vietnamese characters? Check also the Charset property of the Font object.

https://10tec.com/FS/Pro...New_in_Latest_Builds.txt  write as follow:
iGrid does not still allow you to edit Unicode text from codepages which differ from the main locale code page selected in Control panel, but such languages as Chinese is supported in editing mode too.

Does 10Tec_iGrid_ActiveX_7.x support Vietnamese languages like Chinese in editing mode?

When you click the ellipsis button in the property cell value for the Font property, the Windows font dialog appears and you can find the Charset setting in it. An alternative way is to set the Charset property in code.

However, all this may make sense only if you are using an outdated version of iGrid like the v2.51. The latest versions of iGrid implement a new cell editor based on the Unicode edit control and your problem may go away simply by switching to the latest version. Try it.

in vb The latest versions of iGrid Active Control code:
Private Sub Form_Load()
iGrid1.Font.Charset = 163
End Sub
the problem still remain.
on Grid control display English and Chenese and Vietnamese at the same time.
So set iGrid1.Font.Charset is not a good way.

Have you tried iGrid 7.0 as I suggested? If the problem remains, send us a sample to reproduce the issue.

We do not use Vietnamese at all and we do not know how to enter these specific Vietnamese characters from our European keyboards.

However, I copied the text học from this forum into the My Customers grid without any problems. If this can be done, then I think Vietnamese characters can be also entered from the keyboard.

Can you copy/paste Vietnamese texts properly into iGrid?
