I have these properties set as follows:

datatable1.ColDefaultCell(lcol).bSelectable = False
datatable1.CellSelectable(lrow,lcol) = False

But I'm still allowed to select the cell and make an edit. I trapped it on the AfterCommitEdit event (for this row and column) and the value in the cell did get changed. I thought you weren't even supposed to be able to click into the cell, much less make edits.

Interesting observation. If I make one of the columns selectable, then the others are blocked from selection and edit.

I think I see why. In the cell click event, I was setting Curcol even when the column was not selectable. Eliminating that fixed the problem.
