iGrid is not a true data bound control. All it can do 'out of the box' is to copy the data from the specified recordset into its cells when you call the FillFromRS method. ADO and DAO recordsets are supported at that.

If you need to update the underlying recordset, you can use any technology for that. You can find several examples of how data binding can be implemented in the demo.
