I just cannot get the OCX loaded in VB6 on Win 10. When I select the control in the VB and click apply it says "c:\program files(x86) ..\ocx_and_Help\iGrid300_10Tec.ocx could not be loaded" message pops up. The ocx file was already unlocked and has been working fine on Win 7. Any idea?

Thanks

If you mean the Apply button in the Components dialog, VB6 tries to register the selected OCX in the Windows registry when you click this button. VB6 needs admin rights to do that. Do you launch your VB6 with admin rights?

I figured out. It turned out if I register the ocx with regsrv32 before adding the component in VB it would error out. I simply unregistered it from the system first, and then pulled it into VB and it worked.

Thanks.
