I am using VS.net 2010. When I include a Igrid.net V3 table to my form, and run it, I get a message that says the application cannot run because the file is being used by another application. When I remove the form, the application runs correctly.

Has anyone seen this before?

That's a really strange issue, and we hear about this problem for the first time. A couple of questions which can help us to investigate the problem:

1) Does this happen only when you add iGrid to your forms?
2) Does this happen with any project, or only with one specific?
3) Give us a screenshot of the problem, please.

And one more note regarding Vista/Windows 7 - check that also please.

In Windows Vista/7, you may need to do one more step after you downloaded the full version of the control's DLLs. Due to the improved security system in these OS’s, you will need to unblock the iGrid.NET constituent files as they came from the unsecure Internet zone. To do that, open the properties of each DLL and click the Unblock button on the General tab in the File Properties dialog. You may need to do that for the second versions of the files created by Windows automatically (such as TenTec.Windows.iGridLib.iGrid 2.dll, TenTec.Windows.iGridLib.iGrid 2.xml, etc).

1. This only happens when "Start Debugging". If I "Start Without Debugging" the program will proceed.
2. If I Remove IGrid from the project, and the error stops.
3. If I try to run after the error message. The computer will flash between the application and VB 2010. I have to open task manager and terminate VB.
4. This does not happen every time. I have been developing all morning, and it has not happened. Last night it would happen every time I would "Start Debugging.
5. I am running Vista Ultimate 32bit.
6. I could not find the unblock button, you had mentioned, in the file's properties

This might be a VB 2010 problem only. I am not sure. The error message has no specific information.

I will post a screen shot when it happens again.

Thanks for your help

One question we asked is still unanswered. Does this happen only in one specific project, or it happens in all projects which include iGrid? Can you reproduce the same problem in a brand new project with one form and one iGrid on it?
And what about C#? Does it happen only in VB.NET project(s), or in C# projects as well?

I think I might have found out what is causing the problem. When IGrid is present in the form, the problem is worse. I don't think IGrid is the cause. My project was stored on a mapped network drive. When I move it to my computer's hard drive, the problem has not reoccurred. This must be a problem with VB.net 2010. I have developed many project in VB.net 2005. I have always stored them on my mapped drive. I have never had this problem before.

Thanks for all your help!!!!!
