Is it possible to prevent a user from typing text into a cell that contains an editable check box?

I am using the BeforeCommitEdit event to delete any text the user may have typed. It works well but it is still a little strange that a user can see the text as they are typing it into the cell before it gets deleted by BeforeCommitEdit.

The cell check box control and its text part are two independent blocks that can be edited (changed) by the user. To disable the text part editing, use the RequestEdit event - set its bCancel parameter to False for the required cells. If you want to disable changes in cell check boxes, use the BeforeCellCheckChange event for that.
