About to buy iGrid. It is really fantastic!

Is there a way to control the highlighted fore color on a cell-by-cell (or row-by-row) basis?

I have a grid where the rows are displayed with different fore colors based on certain conditions (e.g. if an item is 'expired', row forecolor is red, etc.). When I select the rows (using row-level selection), the forecolor changes to HighlightForeColor setting regardless of what the unhighlighted forecolor was, whereas I would prefer for the forecolor to remain the same color as when it is in non-highlighted state.

Is there a way to do that?

Perhaps, you can implement what you need with the SelectionAlphaBlend property. It allows you to implement semi-transparent selection which will not change a lot the real foreground color of cells. try to play with the values of this property to adjust the desired effect.

Sorry I cannot find a reference to 'SelectionAlphaBlend' in the help.

Andrew, this is a section for the ActiveX edition of iGrid. You are using iGrid for .NET, and it uses the standard .NET way to specify semi-transparent colors in the ARGB format.
