I am using the latest version of the 64-bit Modern iGrid control for two dozen users with no problems.

I have ONE user where the control simply will not load. Access error: There is no object in this control.

I have un-registered the control, replaced the file, and re-registered it several times. I even completely uninstalled Access and reinstalled it.

I don't know what else to try. The problem is only on this one computer. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Does it occur only in one specific database/form?

If the control can be registered on that pc, can you create a brand new Access database and add iGrid to a new form in it?

Did you try to use iGrid in UserForms in Excel/Word VBA?

I did create a brand new database with one form, one iGrid, and no VBA code at all. It does not load.

Yes, I am able to successfully register the control. I have unregistered and reregistered it several times.

I will try Excel/Word next.

I created new Word and Excel documents and added the Reference to the iGrid control in both. But I do not see any way to actually add this control to either document. Regardless, I need it to work in Access.

I realize this is not a problem with your control. It works perfectly fine on 25+ computers. This is the only time I have had this problem with only one computer. I was just wondering if you had any ideas for me to try. Again, I know the problem is not with the control; it is with this ONE computer.

If you want to add an ActiveX control to a form (UserForm) in Excel/Word VBA, you should open the Toolbox and add the ActiveX control icon to it first. After that you can drag the control onto the form surface, resize it, change its properties, etc. You can find numerous examples of doing this in the Internet (for example, video lessons on YouTube).

My idea was to check whether iGrid ActiveX can be instantiated on that 'problem' pc in general, i.e. in other apps. If so, then it can be a specific problem of Microsoft Access.

I have no other ideas what it could be at the moment. Perhaps, you can ask why you can't add an ActiveX control in specific forums for Access developers. Keep us informed, please, especially if you find an answer or solution.
