Licensing
How many licenses do we need and how are your products licensed?
According to our License Agreement, you must buy one license per each developer. However, one developer license allows one developer to use the component on several computers (for instance, at office and at home or on a laptop).
Can I distribute the purchased component "as is" with my end-user apps?
Yes. The retail builds of the component can be redistributed with your apps to computers of end users without additional fee.
The source code of the component can be integrated into your app and compiled as one executable file. This form of redistribution is also allowed.
Can I change the purchased component, recompile it and redistribute/sell then?
No. Our License Agreement prohibits redistribution and selling of the purchased component as a new component product.
Give me an example of how your subscription works
Let's imagine you ordered our iGrid for .NET v10.0 on July 10th, 2020. With this purchase, you activate your 1-year subscription and are eligible to access our technical support service and download any new version of iGrid.NET for free up to July 9th, 2021.
For instance, if we release a bug fix as the version 10.0 build 17 on September 5th, 2020, you can get it for free. If we release the new version 10.1 with some minor enhancements or new features on January 11th, 2021, you can also get it for free. And even if the next major update of the control, v11.0, comes out during one year since the day of your purchase, you can upgrade to it for free.
However, if we release v10.2 on July 10th, 2021 when your subscription expires, you will not be able to get this update for free unless you renew your subscription.
Payments
What payment methods can I use and what is the best you recommend?
The payment processor used to process payments accepts various types of payments: all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover), PayPal, wire transfers, checks, purchase orders. You will see the payment methods available in your region when you open an order page. We recommend using of a credit card or PayPal for payments if possible as these kinds of payments are processed almost instantly.
Can I use a currency that differs from USD?
The prices are listed in USD as our main currency, but payments in other currencies are accepted as well (Euro, Australian and Canadian Dollars, Indian Rupee, Turkish Lira, Czech Koruna, etc.). The price of the selected product is calculated in your local currency when you switch to it on the order page.
What do I get when my payment has been completely processed?
Once your payment has been completely processed, the corresponding registration email with the instructions how to get the unlocked version of the product is sent to you. If you have not received this letter within a reasonable amount of time, notify us about that.
Do you deliver your products on a CD via postal mail?
No, we use only electronic delivery via email as the fastest and easiest way.
