Subscription rules

If you buy a new license for one of our products, you get the latest unlocked version of the product and activate your subscription. Your subscription is in effect for a period of one year following the date of purchase. While your subscription is active, you can:

1) Ask questions about the product via e-mail requests and phone calls.
2) Report bugs in the product and ask us to fix them.
3) Download any new releases of the product.

To continue using the services listed above after your subscription has ended, you must purchase a new subscription for the next year.

The unlocked versions of our products never expire, and they continue to work even if you do not renew your expired subscription. You just lose the ability to download the latest builds of the product and access our technical support service. You can renew your subscription at any moment when you need that, not only immediately when your license has expired.

Version numbering

Our product version numbers have the following format: <major version>.<minor version>.<build number>. A new major version generally means a new version of a product with significant changes and enhancements, while changes in the minor version indicate small enhancements. When we release bug fixes for the product, only the build number is increased.

We always try to keep backward compatibility with previous versions in every release of the product. If it is not possible, as a rule, it happens only when we release a new major version. If only the build number is changed, this always means full compatibility with all other builds of the product with the same major.minor version.

It is impossible to support all the released versions of a product, and we fix all revealed bugs only in the latest version. Because of this, we recommend that you always have an active subscription and stay with the latest release. It minimizes your upgrade efforts related to every release of a breaking change and guarantees that you have the product version free from all bugs found by you and other customers.
