when dragging and dropping columns the behaviour of ColHeaderEndDrag is unclear.

I built a small sample database to demonstrate the behaviour.

Just drag and drop columns around. Sometimes the values are correct, but definetely not always.

Especially: what should I expect when dragging to the end?
The values are the same as if dragging before the last column.

Btw. going to design view after testing this brings a endlessly repeated
"shutdown" Runtime-Error 91 until the application closes.

Tested with .1058.

I didn't understand what is wrong with column reordering. Can you provide a more detailed description with accompanying screenshots? Perhaps, it's better to continue this discussion in email correspondence.

As for the problem with the shutdown error, it was reported by another customer and has been already fixed in our latest interim build of iGrid. If you send us an email, we'll send you the link to this build so that you can test it on your side.

Thank you for the video and description. Yes, I now see the problem. The problem occurs if you drag a column from the left to the right — in this case the lColBefore parameter actually contains the index of the column AFTER which the dragged column will be placed.

Give me some time to investigate this issue. Perhaps, it is related somehow to the Microsoft Header Control we use as the iGrid header to get the OS look-and-feel in iGrid. I think we'll continue the discussion of this problem with possible technical details in email.

This issue has been fixed in the official update 7.50.72.
